This is the outcome of a thought chain which resulted in an admiration for all those who are trying to achieve an income through their creative practices. It's a hard industry to be in if you let it get to you. It's full of ups and downs, high and lows, absolutely brilliant times and down right fucking shit times.
We are currently working on this project of a hand sculpture sporting the V sign. We call it the Creative Salute. From the front it shows the negative "Fuck Off" sign but from the other side it shows the opposite "Peace" sign.
The V gesture has been used many times for many different reasons. We wanted to build up a following of using this V sign as a signification of understanding your roller coaster life of an artist.
